consept art rat fairy v1

This is a idea I had the other day while at work, I know I've done rats with butterfly wings attached, but never changed the anatomy or the structures of a rat to really change them.. This concept is the first time I've tried a Rat fairy, and I think it came out pretty cute.

They aren't like the everyday rat because of the wings of course, but also because their toes and fingers are longer and they have real antennae, they also have skinnier bodies and larger wings so they can take flight. Plus, like a bird they have tail wings, this way they can glide and swoop to grab up nummy insects =3.

In this picture the idea is sitting on a leaf and resting it's paw on a ladybug to oversee the vast land beyond..

Just a Concept, so if it is colored, expect just a map of the color and no real definition in shading or the like. I often color concepts in Oil pastels or chalk pastels, so it will also be Pastel, lol der..

But yeah, let me know if you like it these might end up on a T-Shirt near you if your at the Inidana, Velpo Armory on May 22th. We're holding a rat show ^_^.
