Ready mission Over? by HarvestPicori Ready mission Over? by HarvestPicori
This was five hours later, I returned to the outdoors to get a picture of the garden my moms been working on. But in doing so I found this somewhat swollen and faded Golden Glory Damselfly, could this be the final hours of our boy?
As a Damselfly dies, their body is swollen, but the faded look happens in only the very final hour... For their skin hardens to the point it detaches from the inner body, causing them to look as those their going to morph again.. But alast, the Damselflies final morph is Deth itself, I hope he found his mate, and I know this was more then likly him, for he is on a branch only feet from his hatching grounds. A great end to the season of spring as well, for a day later summer solstis took a turn and gave us 96F temps, and a blistering sun.

Comments,Crits,Redlines and Tips are welcome.

Very nice. These together could be a photojournal of the Damsel fly. Great job.

Thats a great Idea, I didint think of doing a photojournal of the dramsel fly, but with all the photos and the information I've researched for the past 8 years, that would be the perfict way to capture their lives. Thank you so much for your Comments on this set and that Photo idea ^^.

That is part of the joy of being here. Others can make a simple suggestion and you can allow your horizons to suddenly expand. That can be some important stuff. I hope it turns out. If I can be of any help, just ask. That's what I enjoy. :)

When you enjoy something it is never a bother. When it comes from someone who appreciates it. I am even more excited that I can help. But when someone like you comes along, Dolores, and really tries hard and does well, it is a very special feeing to help you. Anything I can do, never be afraid to ask.
